In the framework of the EPoSS Annual Forum, on 26 - 28 September 2012 in Paris (France), COWIN organised a Marketplace, an open space for networking, identifying new business and technological opportunities, finding best partners for transnational projects and getting support from COWIN partners.

One objective of COWIN is to optimise the access to the best financial support for your innovative projects. In joining COWIN Marketplace, you will have the opportunity to meet COWIN experts, to map the available public financing opportunities fitting with your needs.
COWIN Marketplace in Paris was a great opportunity to get up-to-date information on the opened FP7-ICT Calls 2013 including topics in Smart Systems, but also to get individual support from COWIN experts to turn your innovation projects into successfull FP7 projects and business cases.
COWIN Tutorial
The tutorial on "Regulation compliance as a success factor for innovative projects" took place on 28 September. It has been followed by a Workshop on the Medical Devices Aspect of Micro-Nano-Bio Systems.
Meet with future key partners
Optimise your time schedule and increase your chances of successful collaborations with one-to-one meetings organised by COWIN. This service is based on the identification and the selection, prior to the event, of attractive match between potential partners.
About 66 face-to-face meetings took place in parallel to the EPoSS Annual Forum from 26-28 September.
Find Gold Nuggets technologies
During its first year and a half of activity, COWIN assessed advanced technologies resulting from European projects with high potential for commercial exploitation and highly attractive for various application fields such as Life sciences, IT & Telecom, Agrofood, Environment, Energy.
COWIN supported these Gold Nuggets to build up concrete business cases and to make them palatable for industrial take-up.
A selection of Gold Nuggets were presented on the EPoSS Forum in Paris and those holders were available for one-to-one meetings on COWIN Marketplace.
